These are the terms for using Slothdom, the app and this website. By creating an account you agree to them.

Wellbeing, not medicine

Slothdom gives you estimates about your sleep from your phone. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If you are worried about your sleep or your health, talk to a doctor. Do not rely on the app to wake you for anything critical: phones fail, batteries die and volume settings change.

Your account

• You need an invite code, a working email address, and to be 16 or over.
• Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• Invite codes are for friends. Do not sell them.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app.

Your content

You own what you post. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you chose, and to make a public page and preview image for posts you make public, so the service can work. Remove a post and that permission ends. You promise that you have the right to share what you post, including any voice other than yours: tell the people you share a room with before you share a clip. Our community guidelines apply to everything you post.

Pro and points

• Slothdom Pro is a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Their terms cover payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds, and you manage it there.
• Points are a reward, not money. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and can be redeemed for Pro nights as the app shows. We may remove points earned by cheating.
• Prices on the website are a guide. The store shows the price you pay.

Using the service fairly

Do not break the service, scrape it, fake nights or share activity to earn points, or try to get into other people's accounts. We may limit, suspend or end accounts that break these terms or the community guidelines, and we will tell you why where we can.

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Slothdom running but cannot promise it will always be available. We may change or end features. We will give notice of changes that matter to you.

Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, Slothdom is provided as it is, and we are not liable for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our breach, or for lost data you could have backed up, to the extent the law allows.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts there can hear disputes, though if you live elsewhere in the UK or EU you keep the protections of your local law.
